    hot take: wormhole offered $120M for Stargate in august but not for the trading volume. for the votes the LayerZero fee switch taxes every crosschain message and uses the proceeds to buy and burn ethereum:0x6985884c4392d348587b19cb9eaaf157f13271cd wormhole's incentive: - acquire Stargate - use treasury to buy ZRO - vote for fee switch in december - LayerZero gets expensive - all Stargate oft volume migrates to ntt the $120M bid was a governance attack dressed as an acquisition even @PrimordialAA moved STG tokens onchain to block it. this is what protocol war looks like a new vote occurs on June 20th
