I opened a long position on $HYPE for one-third of the volume I’d like to see in the trade. I’m not sure, but I’ll probably buy more at 58 if I get the chance. I closed the trade too early, but to be honest, it was more like a scalping trade (albeit with a large volume). I didn't feel any FOMO, and I was happy with the result. Let’s see, gl.

🚨 Arthur Hayes sold $HYPE and $NEAR – This is the reason! Arthur Hayes cleared his entire #Hyperliquid position in one move. Via TWAP, calmly, slice by slice. A visible block alone was about $18 million USD. His #NEAR position was cleared as well. The juicy part: four days earlier he still called out $150 and publicly bet that the thing would beat every Top‑10 coin by year‑end. He exited around $75. Shortly after $HYPE’s price had passed Solana. Practically at the local top. CT now does the obvious and calls him a hypocrite. I get it. But that's not the point. Hayes is not bearish on crypto. He rotates. Into the AI‑IPO trade, out of the overheated hype. Higher energy prices, three mega‑AI listings by Q3, a market top between now and September – that’s his roadmap, not a doomsday. And he was not alone. The same day other early HYPE whales distributed, one of them exited in minutes. HYPE down 14% in 24 hours, Bitcoin in the same window almost zero. The overall market is still, only this one coin is being passed through. And the timing is the real story. Right now the ETF packaging goes live, staking products, fresh inflows – retail comes in through the front door while early whales distribute through the back door. The biggest wallets are net short, the small money sits long. I am on the seller side. I have sold a portion of my HYPE position, and I am currently short the rest. The hype around the protocol has simply become too loud for me. The fundamentals are not the problem – the bulk of revenue flows into buybacks, that is real. My problem is the price. The product delivers. I think it will resolve downwards before it makes sense again. Tell me where I am wrong.

Not a big fan of @HypurrScan merging spot and perp TWAP metrics in their HYPE Buy Pressure dedicated section. Most viewers use it to grasp upcoming flows and their impact on price. 1$ of spot buy pressure != 1$ of perp buy pressure.
