Although FLOW was delisted, it is actively rebuilding its ecosystem through EVM compatibility, lending protocols, and deflationary mechanisms.
OGAudit Web3 Research: @flow_blockchain $FLOW - Delisted by Korean Exchanges But Now Burning More Tokens Than It Mints
Flow’s core pitch is a multi role architecture separating consensus, execution, verification and collection across different validator node types, paired with Cadence, a resource oriented smart contract language designed specifically to prevent the kind of token duplication bugs that have plagued other chains:
- Full EVM equivalence now runs alongside Cadence on Flow, letting Solidity developers deploy existing Ethereum contracts directly onto the network without rewriting them which is a meaningful expansion beyond Flow’s original NFT and gaming identity, paired with enshrined lending and consumer yield apps positioned as the network’s next growth area beyond collectibles.
- Flow Credit Markets, a native lending protocol is expected to launch on mainnet and is central to the Foundation’s plan for rebuilding onchain stablecoin activity which contracted sharply after a December 2025 security incident with PYUSD and USDC supply on Flow both dropping significantly before partially stabilizing through Q1 2026.
- The Foundation has taken real deflationary steps independent of the security response, a February 2026 buyback and burn permanently destroyed over 50 million FLOW at open market prices, a further 50 million is committed to long term treasury accumulation and a December 2025 fee update means the network becomes net deflationary at sustained transaction volume with staking currently paying roughly 9% APY.
Is full EVM compatibility, a native lending protocol in the pipeline and a genuine shift toward deflationary tokenomics enough to rebuild FLOW’s identity beyond its NFT and gaming roots or does losing access to nearly half its historical trading volume in South Korea mean any product progress has to work twice as hard to move the price?
