    I've never heard of some of these Cardano DEFI apps announcing their closure. Maybe its because I've just not paid much attention, or maybe its because only a select few attracted my attention? Not sure.

    Incentives and organic APR aren't an either/or. They work in parallel. Incentives bring capital in and help markets bootstrap. Meanwhile, PRIME works on making the DeFi ecosystem efficient, so organic yield grows underneath. When incentives taper, capital has a reason to stay.
