That's one of the biggest raises DeFi has seen and what makes it even more interesting is the journey. Morpho started with a $1.35M seed round in 2021. Today, it has raised over $244M in total and grown into one of the biggest lending protocols in crypto. The team spent years building products that make on-chain lending more efficient, then expanded into customizable lending markets through Morpho Blue, giving users and institutions more flexibility in how capital is deployed. Now they're introducing Morpho Midnight, a system designed for fixed-rate lending and borrowing with set maturity dates. Most traditional institutions understand fixed-rate credit. It's familiar. This is so disingenuous lol. Morpho is really well built. Its simplicity is its strength. My concern w.r.t. the raise was a possible dual token-equity structure that would make the token uninvestable. But this may not be the case. Other than that, its gud tek.
