A lot of teams treat an audit like the finish line.

I think that's where the real work starts.

@PushChain wrapped up its independent Hacken audit, made the reports public, and instead of calling it a day, opened the same codebase to the wider security community through the DualDefense Contest on HackenProof.

If you're into security research, this is a pretty interesting one. The live contest covers the Push Chain L1 codebase, runs until August 2, and offers up to $70k in rewards, with up to $100k available across the full bounty program.

Anyone can say "our chain is secure."

Inviting people to spend weeks trying to prove you wrong is a lot more convincing.

That's the kind of approach I'd like to see more projects take.

Everyone celebrates a new mainnet.

I pay more attention to what happens before the launch.

Push Chain spent months going through a full independent security review with @hackenclub instead of treating security as a last-minute checkbox.

What I found interesting is that this wasn’t just a smart contract audit.

They reviewed:
-EVM Gateway
-Solana Gateway
-Push Chain core contracts
-the blockchain node itself

That’s a much wider scope than what we usually see.

The outcome?

-500 hours of audit work
-Zero critical-severity findings
-High & medium issues resolved, mitigated or formally documented before the final reports
-Every report published publicly for anyone to verify

And they aren’t stopping there.

A public bug bounty with rewards up to $75,000 is launching next.

An audit proves where the code stands today.
A bug bounty proves you’re still willing to be challenged tomorrow.

That’s the mindset I’d rather trust than projects claiming they’re “secure” without showing the work.
