So here's the frustrating update (for us at least).
2 months ago, an OG approached us to help get a new team into Bittensor with a slot. We obliged of course and were quite excited about it. After all, this was a big NASDAQ PLC in the compute space. And they had just landed a 9 figure Compute contract.
We thought it would be great for Bittensor.
Anywho, we had a team ready to go on SN27, but they wanted a prestigious low number slot as opposed to a fresh new one. So we moved the team to another slot and agreed to sell them SN27.
We agreed a rather low price actually. SN prices were like 800T at the time and we agreed 1000T for this slot, plus a nice discount for them on the alpha.
All was agreed and then the slow corporate wheels of legal and compliance turned!
After several weeks of waiting, SN reg costs were like 1500+ but we still honoured the 1000T price. And the alpha price discount was getting even de

Price is now sitting just above the $200 region, while liquidity continues to build underneath. The $180-190 pocket has become larger and denser, making it the strongest downside magnet if sellers remain in control.
Above price, nothing has changed.
As long as $200 holds, buyers have a chance. Lose it, and the next likely move is a liquidity sweep below.
Short term, the setup remains challenging. Even if Bitcoin stays range-bound, $TAO has historically been capable of outperforming during periods when AI-specific catalysts dominate the narrative.
