3.5K @hero_truck the tokens vs equity arguments going around have been interesting, I appreciate that the space is, in some ways, moving towards real value/ownership/etc... vs vapor
it's also a bullish argument I've brought up in the past around $cards, but it will take time to pan out. some screenshots below
as a summary - under 2% equity held by non-team for regulatory reasons. no pre-seed vc equity. team is treating the token like equity even though it legally isn't currently, but will be moving towards that with regulatory clarity. this isn't a new thing, they've said it for quite a while
it can be tough to trust any team in crypto, but they've executed well so far and been consistent and transparent in their messaging around this
