The more I learn about DeFi, the more I realize nothing is completely trustless.
The real question isn't "Is it trustless?" It's "How many things do I still have to trust?"

Even if you self-custody your assets, there are still moving parts.
Oracles.
Multisigs.
Off-chain servers.
Operators.
Some protocols have fewer trust assumptions than others, but they all have them.
What I like about @OasisProtocol is that they aren't pretending those assumptions don't exist.
They're building ways to remove them.
Every time you replace a trusted party with something users can actually verify, the whole system gets stronger.
I think this is where the industry is heading. The winners won't be the projects making the biggest claims.
They'll be the ones that quietly keep removing trust assumptions until there's almost nothing left to trust.
That's the kind of infrastructure worth paying attention to.
That's why ROFL is interesting to me.
Instead of saying, "Trust the server running this app," it lets developers prove what was executed through trusted hardware and attestation.
That's a much higher standard than just asking users to believe you. https://t.co/s2XoP7G70g
