Originally launched on Pi2Day 2025, staking through this feature increases an app’s exposure to the Pi community, resulting in more impressions and potentially more user traffic. By staking Pi, Pioneers can collectively support apps and services while developers and creators can promote their apps and tap into Pi’s 60M+ engaged community to acquire users.
The update prepares the feature for further utilization by developers, creators, vibe coders and Pioneers as more apps onboard to the ecosystem.
Note there are no rewards at the protocol level for staking, and the original staked amount will be returned once the staked duration has ended.

@PiCoreTeam has granted the “Mainnet Verified” status to CiDi Games, becoming one of the officially approved applications to operate on the $Pi mainnet.
The verification was issued by the Pi Core Team and confirms that the app now allows transactions with real Pi.

CiDi Games received the “Mainnet Verified” badge within Pi Browser after completing the approval process. According to the project announcement, the app is now fully operating on mainnet and accepts payments in Pi from users.
Currently, the game maintains a rating of 4.8 stars based on more than 14,000 reviews within Pi Browser, placing it among the highest-rated gaming applications in the ecosystem.
