Consequently, the company believes the UCITS framework removes a major obstacle that has limited institutional participation. The structure enables investors to access digital asset strategies through a regulated format already accepted under many existing investment mandates.

Jean-Marie Mognetti, CoinShares co-founder, president, and chief executive officer, described the launch as more than the addition of another investment product. He explained that the new platform provides the company with a regulated framework for developing and introducing additional investment funds across digital assets and other thematic strategies.
Moreover, CoinShares stated that the platform operates with a largely fixed cost structure. As a result, management expects stronger operating leverage as new investment products are introduced through the same framework.
