The site can support as much as 2 gigawatts of power capacity, and MARA plans to develop it for AI and HPC workloads as well as Bitcoin mining.
The announcements coincided with Meta Platforms' disclosure of plans for a $14 billion AI data center campus in El Paso, Texas, underscoring a broader wave of large-scale infrastructure investment in the state.
