Stacks (STX)

I track and fully understand the Foundation’s rationale behind restoring the block reward to 1,000 STX; lower yields naturally lead to a decline in market interest. However, the Foundation must also make concerted efforts to address the inherent structural limitations of the PoX (Proof-of-Transfer) mechanism.

A critical challenge for the Stacks ecosystem is the lack of diverse products and services that miners can utilize instead of simply selling their tokens. While miners commit BTC to produce blocks and earn STX rewards, they heavily lean toward immediate liquidation to cover operational costs. To shift this dynamic, miners need practical, productive use cases for STX rather than just being expected to HODL.
