Dear BitMart Users,
To provide you with a clearer asset management experience and a smoother deposit and withdrawal process, BitMart will upgrade its account system. The existing Fiat Account will be officially upgraded to the Funding Account.
Effective Time
The upgrade will take effect starting at approximately 18:00 on June 29, 2026 (UTC+8), alongside the release of App V4.8.0 and the Web version update. Should any changes occur, they will be updated simultaneously through official announcements and media channels.
Details of This Upgrade
- Fiat Account upgraded to Funding Account: All assets in your existing Fiat Account will be retained in place within the Funding Account (available assets will be counted toward your available balance, and frozen assets toward your frozen balance). The security of your assets and fiat trading functions will not be affected, and you do not need to take any action.
- Deposits support multiple accounts: After the upgrade, all deposited funds will be credited to the Spot Account by default. You may also manually switch the receiving account on the deposit page to the Funding Account or Futures Account, and the system will remember your selection and reuse it for your next deposit.
- Withdrawals support multiple accounts: Withdrawal funds may be transferred out from the Funding Account and the Spot Account, either individually or in combination, with both the Funding and Spot Accounts selected by default. When used in combination, funds will be deducted from the Funding Account first. If a withdrawal fails, the funds will be returned along the original path.
- More flexible transfer paths: Both the Funding Account and the Spot Account may serve as the source and destination of funds for the Futures Account, supporting two-way transfers between Funding and Spot, as well as between Funding and Futures.
- A brand-new funding activity view: The Funding Account supports querying funding records across multiple dimensions, including by type, asset, and date.
Notes on the Impact to You
- The upgrade will be completed on the platform side, and your existing assets in the Fiat Account will be automatically migrated to the Funding Account, with no additional action required.
- Trading, deposit, and withdrawal functions will not be affected during the upgrade.
- If you need to conduct spot or futures trading, you must manually transfer assets from the Funding Account to the target account.
- If you are an API user, you may query Funding Account assets and perform fund transfers through the API.
We will continue to optimize your trading experience. If you need assistance, please contact BitMart's 7×24 online customer service or your VIP account manager (if applicable).
Thank you for your support and trust in BitMart!
