They just reset this setup :) Achieving such rapid growth is a huge accomplishment. Hopefully a mechanism will soon be built for the WLFI price using these revenues.
Revenue has increased 17‑fold compared to last year. I expect it to climb even higher in the rankings over the next two years.

The Block says WLFI is close to getting approved by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to run its own federally regulated bank.
nothing official yet but former OCC people say it's almost certain. one even called rejecting it unthinkable.
right now different companies handle USD1:
> creating it
> managing the reserves
> keeping it safe
> swapping it for other coins
if approved it all comes under one roof, regulated by the US government.
USD1 becomes a real settlement layer, not just a trading coin.
