This hits so close to home. I’m the same. I know I’m not overly exposed and that I do everything in my power to keep anyone from accessing my wallet. But there’s always a new method, a new exploit, etc. I wouldn’t say I’m stressing about it a lot, but every time I open my wallet, there are a few seconds where I hold my breath until the balance loads. It’s far from perfect. While we were all chasing green, QOL improvements and security — especially from wallet providers — have been lagging heavily. I always say that the teams and projects who truly INNOVATE are the biggest winners in DeFi. We’ve seen that with a few notable exceptions - forks don’t work. @CronosNetwork is probably one of the best examples. 99% of forks have died. Creating apps and services that no one else offers is what drives the most users. DeFi users want safety. They want strong safety nets. We can’t convince Gen Z or the early majority to use DeFi if even our veterans are getting drained left and right because scams are everywhere. And no, I don’t want to hear “Well, if they want to join us, they need to learn.” They don’t need us - we want them. So we need to accommodate them and make this sh*t stupid-proof. No company has ever become successful by telling people to “git gud,” and I honestly think it’s the worst possible stance to expect billions of people to suddenly become tech-savvy.

I have a long history of jumping in calls with builders from Cronos, trying to help with advice/support/tips and tricks I never posted about them, but I feel i should. While I dont think it feels a contradiction, i agree on one stance. Why its not a contradiction? > Because there have been zero major news since August 2025 > because the chain is in a bad state liquidity, volume and activity wise > because the explorer have not been upgraded since last year > i could go on for a while, but we all know the problems, we discussing them and kept discussing them 100x times On what I do agree ? The management changed entirely, bringing new vision, new ideas and new experience to the table @Fwiz have a history of big works, big vision.
