📊 ETHEREUM UNDER PRESSURE: 📉 Tom Lee attributes the current weakness to deleveraging Ethereum continues to face price pressure, but Tom Lee maintains that the recent weakness is driven more by market dynamics than by a deterioration of its long‑term fundamentals. During the New Era Finance Podcast, the analyst explained that the current slowdown of Ethereum is mainly related to the deleveraging process following the previous bull cycle, along with a rotation of capital toward sectors with higher return opportunities. According to Lee, the narrative around Ethereum has not changed. Although the price still does not reflect long‑term expectations, he believes the fundamentals remain intact and that the market has not yet fully incorporated new growth areas such as real‑world asset tokenization (RWA) and AI‑driven payments. The current move reflects a transition phase in which investors are seeking more immediate returns while reducing exposure after the excess leverage of the prior cycle. For Lee, this dynamic explains part of the difference between ETH’s price behavior and the ongoing evolution of its ecosystem. The analyst also warned that investors who lose conviction during short‑term volatility could be left out when new catalysts begin to influence Ethereum’s valuation. Tom Lee’s thesis is not based on an immediate recovery of ETH, but on its long‑term potential within the expansion of digital finance. The market will determine whether these structural drivers ultimately translate into greater demand for Ethereum.

At $1,840, I think the probabilities increasingly favor the June low near $1,506, marking the cycle bottom for ETH. My current assessment is that there is roughly an 80% to 85% chance the lows are already in, with approximately a 15% to 20% probability of a retest of the $1,400 to $1,500 region. A deeper decline into the $1,000 to $1,300 range remains possible but, in my opinion, is a relatively low probability outcome. Likewise, I view the chances of Ethereum falling to $900 or below as extremely low, and only likely in the event of a severe deterioration in global liquidity, a deep recession, or a major crypto specific shock, which I don’t see happening given the level of pessimism this market has already endured. The reason I remain constructive is that the underlying fundamentals continue to strengthen despite the weak price action. Ethereum remains the dominant settlement layer for decentralized finance; staking participation continues to reach new highs; Layer 2 adoption is expanding; institutional access has improved through ETFs; and developer activity remains among the strongest in the space. When I combine those fundamentals with depressed sentiment, washed out positioning, and the current macro backdrop, it suggests that Ethereum is much closer to the end of this corrective phase than the beginning of another major leg lower. While short term volatility should still be expected, I continue to believe the long term risk reward profile strongly favors the view that Ethereum has already established its macro low rather than one in which substantially lower prices still lie ahead. Bears always get the greediest at the lows, just as bulls do near the highs, and all I see everywhere is bear porn. Cheers ⚒️

BREAKING: Robinhood Chain’s biggest launchpad abruptly shuts down after collecting $12 MILLION in fees. Noxa, the launchpad that fueled Robinhood Chain’s memecoin boom, has abruptly ceased operations after out-earning Pump .fun for five consecutive days, citing concerns over a flood of low-quality tokens and spam. The ecosystem’s biggest memecoins have since plunged more than 30% from their ATHs following Noxa’s exit, with many users accusing the platform of orchestrating a “soft rug.”
