Ondo has been in a downtrend for 15 months, has retaken two important moving averages, and is now at the final gate to break the downtrend. 1️⃣ What is Ondo? Ondo Finance is a project that brings Real World Assets (RWA) onto the blockchain. In simple terms, it tokenizes traditional yield‑bearing assets such as U.S. Treasury bonds, creating a bridge between DeFi and traditional finance. Its founder, Nathan Allman, is a former digital assets specialist at Goldman Sachs. 2️⃣ Why can Ondo create value? The core story here is the BlackRock connection. Ondo’s institutional product, OUSG, directly uses BlackRock’s BUIDL fund as its backing. Moreover, Ondo is the single largest holder of BUIDL. In other words, it is not a competitor to the world’s biggest asset manager but works as a supply‑chain partner. As the RWA narrative grows, Ondo positions itself at the center of this trend, potentially giving it a fundamental support that many altcoins lack. 3️⃣ Technical Analysis The price is currently $0.4036. The critical point is that the price has risen above both the SMA50 ($0.3467) and the SMA200 ($0.3147). Moreover, the SMA50 is slowly moving above the SMA200, which can simply be described as a golden cross. Thus, the floor appears to be strengthening. However, Ondo is still inside a 15‑month descending channel. The real bull‑play zone is between $0.48 and $0.60. This area serves as both the channel ceiling and a strong horizontal resistance. Until a weekly close breaches this band, any upward movement may remain a response within the channel. A close above $0.60 would be the first confirmation that the downtrend has truly been broken. ✅ Conclusion Ondo is fundamentally strong, and technically it seems to have taken the first steps toward a reversal. The retaking of the averages is positive but not sufficient on its own. The real signal will be a break above the $0.48‑$0.60 pivot zone.
