Theo's goal is not Idle TVL.

A few days ago, the co‑founder of @Theo_Network, @kt_nowk, gave a very impressive talk.
Usually the metric that DeFi platforms frequently use, TVL (Total Value Locked), can have blind spots.

The TVL figure can be quite large, but it is common for assets to be deposited and see little to no trading activity.
Without trading, there are no fees or revenue.
Those locked‑up assets are essentially held only for subsidies and incentives, which is why they are called idle TVL.

If you think about it, money that is merely sitting there can lose its meaning.
What matters is whether the money is actually being used, and in the contexts where it is used, whether it generates more money.

The co‑founder highlighted three important metrics:

- Utilization: how much of the deposited assets are actually being used (lending, payments, trading, etc.)

- Volume: how much trading activity actually occurs

- Revenue‑generating activity: whether the protocol is generating real fees and revenue that produce profit

These figures are crucial.

In the end, a project can only run long term if it has real usage and a sustainable profit structure derived from that usage, and Theo meets those criteria.

As a platform that brings RWA on‑chain, it has so far only issued thBILL, but thBILL continues to move, be traded, and generate real returns on Theo, which suggests the platform is building such a structure.

As previously shared, among platforms tokenizing RWA on‑chain, Theo ranks 16th even though it has only issued a single thBILL…

Looking at the product that tokenizes U.S. Treasury bonds, as of January 12, Theo's Short Duration US Treasury Fund holds $155 M, placing it at rank 12.

It seems we can look forward to concrete developments from Theo in the future.
