At @nsccshow, almost equal amount of people congrated me on Yamal Prizm Nebula and on Black Cat Erupt Super 1/1. Bullish on the community.

This morning in NYC, @CliveAlderman reached out due to my previous weth offer, and we reached the deal. He is Aidan and actually the seller of my Enlightened Professor @moonbirds which is now actually a #PaniniBlockchain sports card in downtown/Birbhalla format.

This might be the upside of grail hunting. Coffin card collectors have similar taste and previous acquisition might open the door for future opportunities.

Aidan still has several top character 1/1 VF S1 NFT. One of definition of coffin cards is top card from top collections. This certainly qualifies and Robot is a top 2-3 character in the VF ecosystem and universe.

Base chain WETH was stolen, with 16.623 WETH lost due to a contract vulnerability.

⚠️ 16.623 $WETH drained on Base Chain.

An attacker exploited an unverified contract’s unrestricted external-call function to spend a victim’s existing WETH allowance.

The attacker used selector 0x42be3129 to make the vulnerable contract call WETH’s transferFrom function. Since the victim had previously approved the contract, 16.623 $WETH (~$31K) was transferred without the victim signing the exploit transaction.

Flow:

Victim → Vulnerable contract → Fresh helper → Attacker

The full amount remains in the attacker’s wallet.

A second near-identical attempt the following day only produced zero-value transfers.

The victim later requested the return of 9 $WETH and offered the remaining amount as a white-hat bonus. No refund has been observed yet
