The reason we did the AMA is
to communicate with Korean users after the TGE
and to think about showing them more things, so the suggestion came up and we decided to do it!

Today's questions were related to the ecosystem!

Q1. Why did the Citrea team frame $CTR as a regulatory asset rather than a governance token, and what motivates holding $CTR long‑term? (staking incentives, etc.)
→ $CTR also serves as a governance token!
(Through Citrea DAO you can also vote on proposals!)

Additionally, they say they framed it as a regulatory asset to do many things!

The first is the gauge system: proposals are posted on the DAO (up to the proposal stage) and they aim to realize them together with other ecosystem contributors!

The second is that $CTR was made a regulatory asset for the mechanic system!

The third is that $CTR is a primitive asset, it has a built‑in staking contract, and other apps can be built on top of it!

Q2. What long‑term role does xCTR play in the ecosystem, and as the gauge system matures, how will you balance incentive governance participation with decentralization?
→ $CTR is a liquid asset, and staking $CTR gives you the token xCTR!

It is used as an asset in the ecosystem, the key is that staking provides incentives and can influence governance decisions!
(In a system that distributes tokens to holders, you can directly decide the distribution)

The long‑term goal is to be competitive in the market!
And there will be various opportunities to earn revenue natively on Citrea in the future!

Because there are also various opportunities for those who participated in staking early, it would be good not to miss them and take part.

Q3. What are the most important things you focus on in the ecosystem now, what are the product priorities, and are there any major roadmap items or updates you want to share with the Korean community?
→ The first priority is focusing heavily on the stablecoin ctusd!
(Focused on growth – increasing TVL and vaults)

They are also working on scaling so more users can use Citrea!

They are preparing Bitcoin structuring listed on the roadmap, and partners like MOPHO are operating Citrea assets!

By launching various partners, they are also preparing an application called Citrea Gateway so the community and ecosystem participants can earn profits!

They also pointed out a unique problem that needs solving in the market and are preparing for it, but it is confidential and not disclosed yet!

Q4. What impression have you gotten of the Korean community?
→ They visited Korea in April, were happy to interact with the community, and had a good impression of the Tiger Research report!

The Citrea team is sincere about Korea and is building hard, so they can do many things there!
(Including various events and KBW participation)

They hope more Koreans will participate!

Q5. Is the Korean market an important market for Citrea, and what are the next plans for the Korean community?
→ The Citrea team considers Korea an important market!
(Korea is extremely interested in Bitcoin, and Citrea is a Bitcoin Layer‑2!)

They want to communicate with users and hear their opinions, plan to engage at KBW, and if they come to KBW this time they’d like to hold another chicken meetup!

What I felt after listening to the AMA is that the Citrea team really likes Korea and is putting effort into building a solid community and ecosystem.

If the Bitcoin market expands further, Citrea as an L2 could grow significantly, so it’s worth keeping an eye on it!
