$CRV - Bottom was off by 2 cents but that's fine. Either a bottom here or we have lower, either way you're looking at years till ATH, but it's the same as most so yea. Was looking at this / ETH pair yesterday and I didn't believe the count as it showed it was going to rip, funny it's done it on it's own. Needs to hold a retrace otherwise new lows instantly again.

ethereum:0xd533a949740bb3306d119cc777fa900ba034cd52 rose 20% in a single day, possibly reflecting some expectation of growth for llamalend. Currently, Curve generates about $60M in fees per year, mainly contributed by DEXes, while llamalend’s contribution is still very small. In terms of actual fee capture, veCRV certainly cannot take the full $60M, because DEX fees are split 55% with LPs, and the Treasury also retains a portion, whereas the lending business is relatively simple, earning interest spread and soft liquidation fees. In the current market environment, generating incremental revenue is still very difficult. A relatively better scenario would be to capture a bit from Aave or Morpho, but achieving a big jump is too challenging. The real opportunity lies after liquidity improves, with good marketing and incentives, targeting the soft liquidation customer base, which still presents chances.

A look under the hood of this recent $CRV rally: 1. Perp CVD has remained relatively flat/neutral during this entire rise off of .18-.19 indicating that this move is primarily spot driven (BULLISH). 2. While spot CVD of major exchanges recently turned down, price continues to rise- indicating spot limit buyers are absorbing the sell pressure and forcing price up. (BULLISH) 3. OI has risen along with this rise in price however we know perp CVD has been neutral and funding is flipping negative, indicating this rise in OI is partially fueled by aggressive shorters and not exclusively aggressive longers (like we often assume when we see price rising along with OI). Because we know spot buyers are absorbing sell pressure and lifting price successfully, it's likely that this rally leads to a short squeeze at some point.
