Bitcoin does not know whether you are a “pleb,” billionaire, socialist, libertarian, Christian, criminal, dissident, or sovereign wealth fund. It verifies signatures, enforces scarcity, orders transactions, and adjusts difficulty. The protocol will never redistribute coins according to moral worth or grant ideological veterans superior claims. It is neutral in execution, even if its design strongly favors properties like sovereignty, scarcity, and resistance to censorship. The “pleb” identity can become hilariously self-contradictory because this leads to an anti-hierarchy social hierarchy, complete with approved opinions, purity rituals, status games, and moral condemnation of anyone who uses Bitcoin differently. Unequal talent, patience, risk tolerance, information, productivity, inheritance, and time preference will still produce unequal outcomes. Some people will accumulate, but others will consume, borrow, lose keys, sell early, or build enterprises. A hard monetary base may eliminate certain mechanisms of politically engineered redistribution and monetary privilege, but it will not create equal wealth. Some form of highly concentrated, Pareto-like distribution is therefore extremely likely. I'm sorry to break this to you, but elites will succeed at accumulating BItcoin, even though Bitcoin has changed the rules by which elites must compete by in the broader economic game. And, much to the horror of the egalitarian cosplay department, the whales are not getting deleted by consensus.

ELIZABETH WARREN DEMANDS TRUMP DISCLOSE CRYPTO HOLDINGS WITHIN ONE WEEK Sen. Elizabeth Warren is demanding that President Donald Trump voluntarily disclose his crypto earnings and holdings from Jan. 1 through July 15, giving him until July 23 to comply. In a July 16 letter, the ranking member of the Senate Banking Committee argued that Congress cannot fairly debate cryptocurrency legislation while the president’s financial exposure to the industry remains only partially disclosed. The request comes as the Senate considers the CLARITY Act, legislation that would establish a comprehensive regulatory framework for digital asset markets by defining which assets fall under SEC or CFTC oversight and creating clearer rules for exchanges and token issuers. Warren argues lawmakers need an up-to-date picture of Trump’s crypto interests before advancing legislation that could directly affect the value of those holdings. According to Warren, the concern is not simply that the president owns digital assets, but that legislation currently before Congress could materially benefit businesses and investments connected to the president while those interests remain only partially disclosed.

The purpose of a flush is not simply to move price lower. It is to make lower prices feel inevitable. $BTC came very close to invalidating my long at $62.5K. But at the exact moment the flush looked most dangerous, I said it wasn’t the time to panic. The crowd did the opposite and started shorting the breakdown as though it had already happened. Instead, BTC followed the expected path, formed another higher low and climbed straight back toward range continuation. Which means that if BTC reclaims the top of the range, the same shorts opened against my trade likely become the fuel needed to carry it through the range and toward my targets. Still, it’s too early to celebrate. Patience. 🤝
