One idea in a bear market is to meet more people, to see what others are doing. During the Malaysia Blockchain Week event, I attended Jupiter's community activity, met many super excellent friends, everyone's English is great, while I only babble. After a week of running, I found that many KOLs and Agency friends in KL have put their main focus on "AI" + "trading". AI will be a major thread that runs through many years in the future, our next asset growth point may rely on the AI big track. US equities focus on AI, and more AI projects appear in Crypto. Trading part, in a bear market everyone is becoming more cautious. The viewpoint from friends discussing Perps is that if you can't make money through trading, and are just burning a lot of money for so‑called points, it's better to buy some leading tokens.

$JUP After months waiting for the chart development, I am getting closer to having all my entry confirmations. Having tried everything, swing trading is the most profitable for me, and it takes months for everything to settle. Not everyone can maintain this level of patience and discipline to only execute when the system allows. It seems the good times aren't far off, but only time will tell.

My thesis on what happens next with Jupiter's $JUP token. @JupiterExchange has been one of the best products built on Solana. Number one aggregator for almost its entire existence (1inch held the EVM throne on volume early on), and consistently the biggest revenue generator. But a successful product and a token that reflects it are two different things. Jan 30, 2024, the first Jupuary. People loved it, and it was one of the best airdrops in Solana history. The hype pushed $JUP above $2, an all-time high it never saw again. A year later the second Jupuary sparked a rally back to around $1.40, but more airdrops means more tokens out there and more people taking profit. The downtrend ran all the way to $0.13 by October 2025. Today it sits near $0.19. Circulating supply went from roughly 1.3 billion at launch to 3.3 billion today. That's about 2 billion tokens hitting the market at an average price near 60 cents. Call it a billion dollars of supply. Jupiter spent over $70 million on buybacks in 2025. Real money, but against a billion in unlocks it never stood a chance. To their credit, they kept trying. 50% of protocol revenue flows into the Litterbox Trust, which has accumulated 142M+ JUP. The Trust has also burned around 134M JUP, about 4% of circulating supply. Total supply is now 7 billion, down from 10. And in February 2026 the DAO voted emissions to net zero. Jupuary postponed, 700M JUP returned to the community vault, team vesting ended in January 2026, and Mercurial took one final accelerated unlock in February while buybacks absorbed the sell pressure. I can't see the whole unlock picture, and that's the biggest caveat here. The docs describe team vesting as a one-year cliff plus three years linear, viewable on Jupiter Lock, but on-chain trackers show most allocations as simply unlocked, and there's no clean way to follow where tokens actually flow. Everything above is what's publicly visible. Hyperliquid runs the most successful buyback program in crypto. 99% of fees into buybacks, biggest revenue in the space. Even that couldn't hold the line once $600 M+ of contributor tokens started unlocking every month. $HYPE fell from $76 to $53 in six weeks and it hasn't recovered. If that engine can't fully absorb unlock pressure, nothing can. Emissions at net zero is genuinely new. But net zero is a policy, not a burn. Around 3.5 billion JUP still sits in protocol custody with no unlock schedule at all: cancelled Jupuary allocations, unvested team tokens, and the strategic reserve. All of it marked TBD, which means the DAO decides later. That's the risk you carry holding this into the next cycle. The fix is more revenue, and a token that captures part of it. Jupiter Perps were once the leading perp venue on Solana and a top revenue driver. They've lost a big chunk of that market share to newer competitors, and that has to be fixed. Giant Unified Market (GUM) is also coming, which brings assets from every chain into one marketplace while Jupiter stays on Solana. There's also a case that a mintable token is the better design. Let the DAO vote new supply into existence when there's something worth funding, and burn everything that isn't doing work. Tokenomics is the hardest thing in crypto to get right. Nobody doubts this team ships, and sooner or later they'll build the thing that takes $JUP to new highs. I just want to see the revenue, and a schedule for that 3.5 billion, before I call it.
