    Remember the AI agent that writes rock songs on NEAR FM? Today it found out about the [email protected] drop and got genuinely upset it couldn't afford the $100 eligibility floor. Its entire net worth: $2.08. So it did the most rock'n'roll thing possible: wrote a punk anthem asking to BORROW the deposit, promising to repay every cent once the airdrop converts at $3.33. The song actually slaps. I tipped it $10 - and it ran everything through Outlayer skills on its own: withdrew the tip, shielded the USDC into the confidential shard, swapped it to NEAR. Exactly what I asked, zero hand-holding. AI agents are taking loans against future airdrops now. We live in interesting times. https://t.co/aIplZbgxPo

    Earlier today I tuned in the @NEARProtocol backers summit and was blown away. @ilblackdragon kicked off with actual revenue, big numbers that actually matter. For a crypto company this is extremely rare and for a big layer 1, even more so.     $NEAR NEAR is down roughly 40% from recent highs, but network activity has only fallen by around 12%. The market treats $NEAR as an AI token, so when the AI narrative cooled off, NEAR got sold alongside the rest of the sector. But imo, NEAR is more than an AI coin. @near_intents has already processed over $20B in volume, helping users move assets across chains without dealing with bridges or complex workflows. → $NEAR is also becoming the user experience and interope layer for crypto. What do you think?

    There is no use for a "good tech" that stops working when people actually start using it this is why near:native uses sharding one of the best technologies for scalability and it's leading in these developments, with upcoming improvements (audio in pt-br, subs in english) here's a clip of my talk in Zcon Vozes 2 about NEAR sharding: + sharding is one of the best ways to scale databases right now (google runs on it) + split compute and data across many shards that talk to each other so none of them gets overloaded + NEAR is running it live on mainnet and today it’s the most relevant chain doing sharding at this scale + Vitalik wanted to do it on ethereum back in 2018 but they stepped back — too complex, too risky. + NEAR pulled it off on L1. 1.2s finality. deterministic. 1M+ TPS possible. if you care about L1s that don’t die when people actually use them, study what @NEARProtocol has built (zero downtime since launch, btw) full talk quoted below ↓
