You can earn TAO without owning a single machine.

In most of crypto, taking part means buying expensive hardware. Bittensor has a quieter door: staking.

You take your TAO and back a validator, one of the network's judges who score who is doing good work. You don't run anything. The validator does the job. You simply vouched for them with your stake, and you earn a share of what they earn.

Pick a lazy or dishonest validator and your share shrinks, because the network pays validators by how well they judge. So staking is not passive gambling on a price. It is choosing whose judgment you trust to hand out the network's rewards, and getting paid for how right that bet is.

Think of it like moving your savings to a fund manager. You are not picking every stock yourself, you are picking the person who does, and you live with how good they are.

Staking is a vote. You are not betting on a logo, you are backing a judge, and the network pays you for backing a good one.
