Licensed exchanges must thoroughly vet projects before listing, continuously monitor after listing, and completely ban privacy-focused coins such as Monero and Zcash. 🔸 The Philippines Central Bank requires all digital asset service providers to undergo strict due diligence and approval processes before allowing the trading of any token. Exchanges must continuously monitor listed assets and have a delisting mechanism if a project encounters issues such as loss of liquidity, bankruptcy, fraud, loss of peg, security breach, or false information disclosure. 🔸 Philippines officially bans privacy coins (transaction identity-protecting coins) such as Monero and Zcash on licensed platforms. If a token is considered a security, exchanges must also comply with regulations of the Philippines securities regulator (SEC).
