🔴BNB Chain just announced the H2/2026 roadmap, centered on a completely new Layer‑1 for high‑frequency AI Agent trading. Testnet expected late 2026, mainnet early 2027.

- Over 100,000 TPS via parallel execution, long‑term goal 1 million TPS
- Pre‑confirmation under 50 ms, finality under 1 s
- TxStream: remove public mempool, fundamentally block MEV and front‑running

🔴Will the new chain siphon liquidity from BSC or expand the overall pie?
It’s highly likely the L1 will become a BNB sidechain, three signals:
- CZ says BSC will remain the payment hub, the new chain will connect via the native bridge
- BNB will be the unified asset across all chains: gas fees, staking, etc. all flow to a single token
- Clear tiering: BSC handles comprehensive DeFi, the new chain handles HFT and AI Agents — use cases BSC was not designed to serve

In other words, BNB Chain follows a specialized multi‑chain playbook: each chain does one thing, the common token accumulates value.
