Indeed it fell, but this strategy doesn’t really care about up or down; as long as Minimax goes up faster when the market rises, and ZHIPU drops faster when it falls, it’s fine. The bet is on the market‑cap gap between the two narrowing.

74.9K @Wuhuoqiu I just bought Minimax spot and went long 1x short on ZHIPU.
The market‑cap gap between them has recently widened to about 8×. Currently GLM5.2 is very popular, more hype than Minimax, Benchmark scores are ahead, and the B‑to‑B narrative is more certain than Minimax’s C‑to‑C.
However, on OpenRouter the two model calls remain very close, and performance doesn’t differ qualitatively, so I think a 3–4× gap makes sense, while 8× is clearly too high.
Opening both long and short simultaneously is a bet that this 8× price difference will shrink; upward, 10× feels like an upper limit, but I expect it to revert to 3–4×. The current large spread is likely due to a misalignment of unlocking cycles. A small bet, the odds seem reasonable.
