MorphoLabs' borrowing rates have risen due to a sharp drop in liquidity, creating a dilemma for Katana vault users to unwind their positions, requiring vigilance against high borrowing costs.
Okay after some help from @0xfarmed, the reason why borrow rate on @MorphoLabs is so high now (15% native) is the the liquidity supply went from $2M to $600,000 in like 3 days
By removing the supply you artificially create higher borrow demand which increases the borrow rate quickly
One thing unclear to me is why. Is this normal? This puts a lot of us in @katana in a dilemma when it comes to unwinding our vault positions since the 40% APR is time weighted
Would love some clarity around the morpho team why this occurs
