$XVG (Verge) did over 1,100,000% in 2017 on a single John McAfee tweet (that he was PAID ~$105K to post)… then got its blockchain literally HACKED and rewritten in multiple 51% attacks. Its big "mystery partner" turned out to be Pornhub. Today: -99% and near dead. 😳

The Setup:
▶️ Launched Feb 2016 as a privacy coin (Tor + I2P built in): No big VC raise, community-mined
▶️ Opened 2017 near $0.00001 → rode the bull run + hype to fame
▶️ The "Wraith Protocol" (privacy toggle) was hyped for MONTHS as a game-changer

The pump (this is the wild part 👇):
➡️ Dec 13, 2017: John McAfee tweets "privacy coins... cannot lose," naming Verge
➡️ #XVG rips from under a cent to ~$0.25, a market cap near $4 BILLION
➡️ Later revealed: McAfee charged $105,000 PER promotional tweet ($0.13 per follower)
➡️ It wasn't a thesis. It was a PAID AD dressed up as a prediction.
