Bitcoin has struggled over the past several days, especially since it was rejected at $85,000 on Wednesday, and is fighting for the crucial $80,000 support.
Ted Pillows and EGRAG CRYPTO, two of the most popular crypto analysts on X, argue that even another substantial pullback could still fit within a much larger bullish structure.
Will BTC Repeat the 2022 Bottom Fractal?
Earlier this weekend, Pillows noted that the primary cryptocurrency is closely following the same pattern that emerged after its November 2022 cycle bottom. He believes the summer consolidation, the subsequent rally in late August and September, and the latest correction from $87,000 to $80,000 have so far unfolded in a remarkably similar manner.
He has turned his attention now to what happened during the 16th week after the 2022 bottom, when the asset suffered a sudden decline amid the US banking crisis. Pillows noted that BTC is now approaching the equivalent point in the current fractal.
If history continues to rhyme, he believes bitcoin could face another sharp correction, potentially bottoming around $74,000-$75,000 in a worst-case scenario. Interestingly, this call coincided with what Peter Schiff warned about over the weekend, which was dismissed by most analysts at the time.
Pillows, though, does not see such a move as the beginning of another prolonged collapse. Instead, his roadmap calls for a reversal from that region followed by a recovery toward $90,000.
$BTC is exactly mimicking the fractal from the November 2022 bottom.
The consolidation, pump, and even correction are happening the exact way.
And here’s what’s interesting.
In the 16th week after 2022 bottom, BTC had a flash crash because of the US banking crisis.
We are approaching the same week again now, and if this repeats, Bitcoin will bottom around $74K-$75K (in the worst-case scenario).
After that, a reversal and pump to $90,000 will happen.

$115K on the Table?
EGRAG CRYPTO continues to be bullish on BTC, pointing to a recurring pattern on its daily chart in which periods of consolidation have repeatedly been followed by explosive upside moves. He believes a third version of the same setup may now be developing while BTC consolidates around its bull-market support band.
EGRAG argued that even a retracement toward the same range mentioned by Pillows would not automatically invalidate the bullish structure.
On the opposite side, he noted that a surge past $82,900 followed by the much more important $86,000-$87,000 area would confirm that the real breakout rally has begun. Above that, his major targets sit at $98,400 and all the way up to $114,900.
