Iran's Foreign Ministry said talks with Oman on safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz are making positive progress, Walter Bloomberg reported on August 4.
The ministry said the two countries are discussing a vessel transit framework that respects Iran's sovereignty while reflecting both sides' security interests.
It added that technical and political consultations are proceeding constructively. Iran said it will announce the final agreement once the talks are concluded.
