They now appear to be taking that exact approach by reducing Aave incentives and shifting their focus toward in house applications
The biggest hurdle now is that it has been some time since TGE and the trust deficit between the chain and its users has grown significantly
If they want users to adopt their first party dapps they will likely need a meaningful incentive program to bootstrap usage especially with $MEGA trading at depressed levels
To rebuild confidence they should also follow through on the promised buybacks and materially improve communication around their first party applications
Announcing first party dapps without providing any meaningful details about the products is frustrating for holders & only adds to the uncertainty
