Secret is proposing to migrate to Arbitrum.

Another sovereign L1 deciding that distribution is worth more than sovereignty.

tl;dr

• Snapshot: September 1, 2026
• A new ERC-20 $SCRT will be issued on @arbitrum
• Native SCRT, staked $SCRT, and unbonding balances are included.
• Not included: $sSCRT, LP positions, $SCRT in contracts, bridged/IBC versions.
• If you’re holding excluded versions, convert back to native or staked $SCRT before the snapshot.
• $SCRT remains the governance token.
• Proposed inflation reduction: 9% → 5%.
• SCRT Labs plans to stop maintaining Secret Network after the migration and release the code under a permissive license.
• This is still subject to governance approval.

This is a proposal, not a final decision.

If approved, @SecretNetwork future token liquidity and ecosystem would move to Arbitrum rather than its own L1.

The privacy computing network Secret Network announced a proposal to migrate to the Arbitrum ecosystem to support its expansion in privacy AI and off-chain computation. The migration plan sets September 1, 2026 as the asset snapshot date, at which a snapshot will be taken of native SCRT and staked SCRT (including the unlockable portion), and a new ERC-20 standard SCRT will be issued on Arbitrum. Officials caution that sSCRT, SCRT in liquidity pools, or cross-chain bridged assets are not included in the snapshot, and users must convert them back to native or staked form before the snapshot date. Additionally, the proposal suggests reducing SCRT’s inflation rate from 9% to 5%.
